Hanso update --Read at your own peril

Getting too much work done? Check out these links to fix that. These were teh result of searching for Benjamin Linus. Apparently the lost folks bought google ads that pop up when you search for the name. The acutal google results didn't lead anywhere, but the ads do.

I wonder how much of these postings are jokes where they have fun with us and how much is 'real' in the Lost universe. I mean, was the Oceania flight really flown by a computerized pilot (Otto Pilot)? Does Hanso really have an adoption program? Is the stuff talked about on these web links going to be incorporated into the storyline at some point?
Obviously some of the things in the show are done just to have fun and pull legs. Like the argument abotu 'Carrie' in the book club ("it's just mumbo-jumbo, no bigger metaphors") is just like some of the criticism of Lost. And I think that was deliberate.

Otto Pilot. Now, if Julie Haggerty started giving an inflatable pilot a hummer as the plane actually crashed, THAT would be funny.

The autopilot nugget does lend some credence to the idea that the plane could have been guided toward the island on purpose, but as you say, it could just be the writers f'ing with us.
