What I Did On Summer Vacation

Some interesting tidbits to be had from the official ABC Lost podcast, which had highlights from the Lost panel discussion at ComicCon in San Diego. Of note:
There will be a Rousseau backstory episode this coming season. Not in flashback form, but we will get her story. (Side note - the show's producers said there still will be flashforwards and flashbacks, but also they are going to 'try something new.')
Vincent the dog will show up again.
Jin and Locke, we will see those characters again. In the Q&A session of the panel discussion, someone asked if those two characters were gone. And Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindeloff said no, we will see them again, that death is relative, yadda yadda. Very cagey they were. But we will see those characters again.
Kate and Sawyer will see each other again at some point.
The island did NOT travel when Desmond turned the key and the hatch imploded and the sky turned purple back in season 3.
Farraday's notepad is full of information about stuff that has happened and that WILL happen and we will find out a lot more about this in season 5.

Season 5 will begin in February. 17 episodes.

So I have this sinking feeling that I'm going to be upset with the ending of the series- I bet it will have something to do with Jack and Vincent- just like the first season in the first episode-

The wait till season 5 makes me almost want to throw in the towel but I have vested too much of my free time in this show- I'm past the point of no return!!!

Throw in the towel? Are you kidding - we just had such a terrific season 4, the show has such compelling characters, the mystery remains fun -- I'm all on board with this bad boy until the end. Sure, the long wait sucks. But I didn't see Sopranos addicts saying they were quitting the series when they had to wait months and months and months between seasons. Suck it up, people, this is goooood TV.

more lost talk please- it helps pass the time....
how about one of my favorite questions- what is Libby's background story.... Will Daniel be the character that will allow us flashbacks to Libby....

our great blogger is MIA- Daneman- one day before the season opener and no lost talk. What's wrong with this picture?

Well here is my lame attempt to start some lost talk. So will we finally understand what happened to make Jack crazy? Will we find out why or how Clare died? What's up with Jacob. Although those annoying questions will not likely be answered tomorrow- I did hear that perhaps some questions will be answered- that the writers are trying to explain things to keep people interested. thoughts????

ps- maybe we will find out how Libby and Daniel are connected- I predict that they met in the nuthouse-the same one that Hurley was in ....

Bogie, I just made a quick, short post, realizing that Daneman was falling down on the job. You get the guy married and look what happens.
